DMS Pumpkin Dash 5k is Coming October 23

Dover, NH, September 12, 2022 – The Dover Middle School Parent Teacher Association (PTA) is excited to announce the DMS Pumpkin Dash 5k is back! The event is taking place on Sunday, October 23, 2022 and it is the 9th race in the Dover Race Series, sponsored by Mass General Brigham Wentworth-Douglass Hospital.  The race will start and end at Dover Middle School, 16 Daley Drive, Dover, NH at 8:30am. Bib pickup is available Friday, October 21 from 3-6pm at the front of Dover Middle School, and on race day starting at 7:00am. Race shirts are being distributed at these times, as well, to the first 200 registrants.

Early registration is available online until midnight on Thursday, October 20. Entry fee is $25 for adults, $10 for ages 14 and under, and $5 for currently-enrolled Dover Middle School students.  Registration will also be available at bib pickup, and early registration fees will be valid until 6:00pm on Friday, October 21. All fees will increase by $5.00 for same day registrations.

Proceeds will help to support the Dover Middle School Parent Teacher Association (PTA). The PTA is a group of parents and teachers who work together to provide funding for enhanced learning opportunities for our school community of over 1200 students. These activities include, but are not limited to, subsidizing funding for student field trips to the Browne Center at UNH, Performing Arts and Community Service activities. We also provide financial assistance to support the Library Fund, physical education equipment, technology equipment, art supplies, and enrichment funds for Guidance and Advisory groups.
