Red’s Race for a Better Community – 5 mile run and 2.4 mile walk in Dover on April 16th

MARCH 9, 2022 – The 39th annual Red’s Race for a Better Community will take place on Saturday, April 16th, 2022 in Downtown Dover. The event is open to anyone who wants to run or walk to raise money for three local non-profits who provide important services in Strafford County. These non-profits are Community Action Partnership of Strafford County, Seymour Osman Community Center, and Woodman Park Parent Teacher Organization. The race is 5 miles for runners and 2.4 miles for walkers. Registration will begin at 8am on April 16th and the race will begin at 10am.
In order to receive a limited edition t-shirt, please register for the race by March 20th, 2022. Registration is available online at https://tinyurl.com/2p872dnb.
Online registration will remain open until April 13th. There will be in-person registration opportunities the day of the race, as well.
Bib pick up will be held the day before the event at Red's Shoe Barn, in addition to day of. All runners will receive a 10% discount for the week following the event at Reds Shoe Barn when they bring their bib in to shop.

ABOUT Red’s Race for a Better Community: Since its inception over 40 years ago, Red’s Race has grown to become one of Dover's most anticipated road races, and a successful annual charity fundraiser that strengthens the community by raising money for local non-profits who provide important services to many of Strafford County's most vulnerable residents. Red’s Race was conceived in 1981 as Red's Shoe Barn 5 Mile Road Race, organized and sponsored by Red's Shoe Barn.
