Run Early, Eat All Day! Dover Turkey Trot is Thanksgiving Day!

This year marks the ninth anniversary of the Dover Turkey Trot road race and we are excited to celebrate this milestone! The Dover Turkey Trot will take place on Thursday, November 24, 2022 at the Garrison Elementary School. As you may know, the Dover Turkey Trot is a 5k road race designed for runners of all ages and abilities and has become a highly anticipated and fun family Thanksgiving Day tradition with close to 1,000 registered runners. Help us to promote a healthy lifestyle at this fun-filled community event that will benefit the Garrison School PTA.
The PTA raises funds to provide items that fall outside the realm of the current school budget such as the teacher mini-grant program, teacher appreciation, sponsorship of family and community events, purchase of “extras” for the classrooms, and help in subsidizing field trips and guest speakers. This race is our primary school fundraiser. We hope that you can join us to walk or run on the morning of Thanksgiving! Father's Day 5k is June 19 - register now!

Father’s Day 5K is a fundraiser for Families First Health & Support Center, Goodwin Community Health, and Lilac City Pediatrics, the 12th Annual Father's Day 5K will begin at Margaritas in Dover, NH at 9 a.m. Gift cards will be awarded to the top overall male and female finishers and the top two male and female finishers in each age group.
Red’s Race for a Better Community – 5 mile run and 2.4 mile walk in Dover on April 16th

The 39th annual Red’s Race for a Better Community will take place on Saturday, April 16th, 2022 in Downtown Dover. The event is open to anyone who wants to run or walk to raise money for three local non-profits who provide important services in Strafford County. These non-profits are Community Action Partnership of Strafford County, Seymour Osman Community Center, and Woodman Park Parent Teacher Organization. The race is 5 miles for runners and 2.4 miles for walkers. Registration will begin at 8am on April 16th and the race will begin at 10am.

SMA 5k Set For Saturday, April 9th

Saint Mary Academy will host their 9th annual SMA 5K Run/Walk on Saturday, April 9 with a 9:00 am start.
As part of the Dover Race Series, SMA race coordinators are looking forward to hosting the SMA 5k that takes runners through historic downtown Dover and the Dover Community Trail.
