The DRS Is Back for 2022!

After a two year hiatus due to COVID-19, the Dover Race Series is back for the 2022 season. The DRS is proud to present ten races that run from March through November, 2022. The season kicks off with Dover Main Street's Run Before You Crawl 5k on Saturday, March 12, 2022 and will be the opening race for the DRS. Season Passes for all races may be obtained by visiting our registration page.

The Dover Race Series consists of ten races which take place over the course of the calendar year. Registered participants completing 6 out of 10 5k races will receive a series jacket. Ages will be determined as of January 1st. Female and Male winners in three age categories; Kids (14 & Under), Series (15-59) and a Senior Division (60 & Older). Season winners will be announced on the DRS website in December.

Father’s Day 5K is a fundraiser for Families First Health & Support Center, Goodwin Community Health, and Lilac City Pediatrics, the 12th Annual Father's Day 5K will begin at Margaritas in Dover, NH at 9 a.m. Gift cards will be awarded to the top overall male and female finishers and the top two male and female finishers in each age group.

The 39th annual Red’s Race for a Better Community will take place on Saturday, April 16th, 2022 in Downtown Dover. The event is open to anyone who wants to run or walk to raise money for three local non-profits who provide important services in Strafford County. These non-profits are Community Action Partnership of Strafford County, Seymour Osman Community Center, and Woodman Park Parent Teacher Organization. The race is 5 miles for runners and 2.4 miles for walkers. Registration will begin at 8am on April 16th and the race will begin at 10am.

Saint Mary Academy will host their 9th annual SMA 5K Run/Walk on Saturday, April 9 with a 9:00 am start.

As part of the Dover Race Series, SMA race coordinators are looking forward to hosting the SMA 5k that takes runners through historic downtown Dover and the Dover Community Trail.
